Privacy and terms

What information this website and the family account collect, why, and how we protect it.

This website

This website uses browser storage for campus preferences and campaign attribution. Family application drafts are saved in the site’s account database after sign-in, not in browser storage. Optional Google Analytics and CCS-America’s own aggregate public-page analytics run only after you allow analytics in Privacy choices. Campaign measurement is configured to exclude the contact details, form answers and student grades entered into forms. The Google Tag Manager container does not load on family-account pages, staff pages, signed email preference links or other excluded routes.

Inquiries and optional enrollment emails

Inquiry forms save the adult contact details, campus choices and message you provide for school staff. When connected, an email acknowledgement confirms that the inquiry was saved. Optional enrollment updates require a separate choice and email confirmation. You can stop those updates through the unsubscribe link. Text-message delivery is not connected. Call or email your campus if you need a reply.

Interest-list updates

The interest list saves your adult contact details, required ZIP code, selected topics, email consent and optional phone number and referral answer. It does not collect student records or ask you to choose a campus. CCS-America network staff and authorized marketing partners can use this information to provide selected updates, understand geographic interest and plan future campaigns. ZIP code does not assign your family to a school. Protected exports include consent and unsubscribe status; campaign measurement events do not include your contact details. Phone numbers are not enrolled in text messaging. If a save is interrupted, the interest form keeps the same request in memory in this tab for a retry and confirms success only after the server saves it.

Applicant privacy notice

The family account collects only what enrollment requires: your contact details and address, your child's name, date of birth and grade, the campuses you choose, and any priority you claim. We never ask for Social Security numbers, and we do not collect grades, test scores, disability or health information before a seat is offered; the school collects records at registration.

The optional family account stores drafts for you to prepare and review. A saved draft does not submit an application, reserve a seat or enter a lottery. Official applications and admissions decisions remain with the school’s existing application process. The site does not send student answers to campaign measurement services. Contact the campus about retention, correction or deletion of school records; this website does not promise an automatic draft-deletion deadline.

You can download your saved family information from account settings and delete unfinished drafts from the account dashboard. Deleting a draft does not withdraw an official school application. If a submission is awaiting school receipt, contact the campus before removing it.

Student records

Enrolled students' education records are protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Families may opt out of directory information through their campus office.

Campaign inquiries and website measurement

The campus inquiry form saves an adult’s contact details, requested campus and grade, and optional question for school staff. It is separate from a student application. Please provide student records through the school’s application or registration process.

Optional enrollment emails require a separate choice and can be stopped through their unsubscribe link. Optional Google Analytics is off unless you allow it in Privacy choices. When allowed, Google processes information about your device and activity on approved public pages to help CCS-America understand visits and steps toward enrollment. Advertising features remain off. You can decline or withdraw optional analytics using Privacy choices in the footer. CCS-America’s own optional analytics uses a random browser session for up to30minutes and retains fixed public-page and enrollment-step observations for up to30days. It excludes names, contact details, student grades, form answers, raw search queries and advertising click identifiers; it does not join these observations to a family account or school application. Withdrawal stops new observations and revokes the current optional analytics session; requests already dispatched cannot be recalled. A first-party preference cookie remembers this browser’s choice for up to six months; Google may set its own analytics cookies when allowed. This choice is separate from email updates.

Embedded videos, maps and external links

School videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain and load when you choose to play them. Playing a video may involve YouTube’s cookies or data processing. Embedded Google Maps can contact Google as a map loads. Opening external mapping or other linked services involves that separate provider’s information practices. The optional analytics choice does not prevent a video or map that you load from contacting its provider.

Temporary inquiry recovery

If an inquiry save is interrupted, this tab can temporarily keep your entered contact details and request identifier in session storage so a retry checks the same request. Recovery information is cleared after a confirmed save and is not kept beyond the browser tab’s session. Application drafts are saved separately in your signed-in family account.

Caption and audio-description availability is still being reviewed. Contact your campus to request a transcript or description.
