After a seat offer

Congratulations. Here is what happens between the offer and your child's first day.

Contact Your Campus

  1. Accept by the deadline

    Follow the school’s instructions to accept or decline by the deadline in your offer. Contact the campus office if you need help.

  2. Register

    After you accept, you'll get a registration link and a checklist. Registration is where the school collects records, so none of them were needed to apply.

  3. Get ready

    Order uniforms, note the calendar and read the handbook. The campus office will contact you about orientation.

What to bring to registration

  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of North Carolina residence
  • Immunization record
  • Health assessment, for children entering North Carolina public school for the first time
  • Custody papers, if they apply
  • Last report card or withdrawal form from your child's current school
